Back Issues of Magazines

julieandrewsSo my library is giving away back issues of magazines. Tons of magazines. From 1925 onward. I know I don't need to drag a bunch of random magazines home, really. And no, we don't have any SF/F ones, though I'm sure there's some science ones down there.
Any suggestions for ones that might have interesting articles, or more interesting adverts?
General subjects? Titles? Date ranges?
I feel like I shouldn't pass up this opportunity, but I don't know what to grab really.
Ideas?
