My question is about the Vulcan High Council or whatever: What the hell were they doing in that cave? When they ordered the evacuation of the planet surely it was SOMEONE'S job to go and tell them, if their phones didn't work or whatever. These people are supposedly the protectors of the culture so surely they ought to be a priority to save?!
Why was it left to Spock to beam down and go after them? Not Logical.
