julieandrewsI've booked a flight. After Travelocity screwed with me the same way Orbitz and Priceline did, I gave up on travel sites altogether. I just went with Southwest. Maybe it wasn't the best possible deal ever, but Southwest prides itself on offering cheap flights, so I can't have gone too wrong by going with them. Would it have gotten cheaper if I waited until the last minute? Maybe, but I didn't want to take the chance.
So I'm flying out on Friday. Which means I need to find a place to stay for one night. It'll at least mean I should be rested on Saturday instead of being awake since 3am Eastern on Saturday. This gives me an extra day to acclimate, and extra time for flights to be delayed. It also means I get to lug luggage around more than I wanted to. Oh well. Pack light!
