Vorkosiverse? As many drawbacks as there are to Beta Colony, I would probably not have an issue with living there.
Federation Earth seems like a pretty nice place to live, what little they show of it.
For the most part, for me, most futures (as long as they aren't purposeful dystopias) are going to be places I wouldn't mind living in.
I used to think I wouldn't mind a setting with a lower tech level/magic, but having a child completely dependent upon modern technology (and desperately wishing our technology was just a little better than it is) has really changed my perspective.
