I'm a little annoyed at Amazon at the moment. I was going to buy some gifts for people in New York and just have it sent directly to them, so Amazon decided that made me a 'New York customer' and tried to charge me sales tax. NYS recently changed its laws to be more draconian, but Amazon's taking them a little too strictly.
Nearly 2$ tax on a less than 30$ purchase means it'd almost be cheaper for me to have it sent here and mail it myself! I may do that for the principle of the thing. :P
